This student apartment (yellow flat) with 100 square metters is on the 3rd floor of a well kept renewed building. There's a fully equipped kitchen, with stove, oven, microwave, dish washer machine, wash machine, cofee expresso machine, fridge and freezer, dishes, cutlery, and a storage area. You can also relax in a comfortable living room which has a king size bed sofa and a LED TV set with 150 channels, High Speed (200 Megas) Internet/Fiber.
Overnight stays are allowed for short periods of time. The living room can also serve as a study room.  The apartment has 4 bedrooms: the back bedroom (room nº 1), 19 square metters, the front bedroom nº2 with a private balcony, 12 square metters, the front bedroom nº 3 with a private balcony, 12 square metters. And the Front Bedroom nº 4 with one window and a single bed (2,000x1,050), 10 square metters. The flat has 2 bathrooms fully renovated in 2017. Maximum capacity of the apartment: 4PAX.

The 100 square metters apartment has 2 brand new bathrooms and 4 rooms. The front room nº 2 has a private balcony, one window, a double bed (2,000x1,500), a wardrobe, a chair and a desk. It has 12 square metters. 100 megas internet inside the bedroom. Only 1 PAX,. The front room nº 3 with 12 square metters has a window, a private balcony, a double bed (2,000x1,500), a desk, a chair, a wardrobe and a book shelf. There is a second wardrobe in the hallway which serves the front room nº 2. 100 megas internet inside the bedroom. Only 1 Pax. The Front Room nº 4, 10 square metters, with one window, a desk, one wardrobe, a closet and a single bed (2,000x1,050). Only 1 PAX.The back room (Room nº 1) has a double bed (2,000x1,500), a wardrobe, a desk, a chair, two windows and it is totally noiseless. It has 19 square metters. 200 megas internet inside the bedroom. Only 1 Pax.  Each bedroom has a high quality large mattress with high firmess. All bedrooms have 200 megas high speed internet.

Location:

This student apartment is located in a quiet, historical, central and safe neighborhood with great transport connections! Lots of cafes and restaurants, supermarkets and traditional commerce. A Minipreço supermarket, a butcher and a greengrocer are located about 2 minutes away from the front door.
There are 3 subway stations (blue line and green line) from a walking distance (5 minutes): Baixa-Chiado Subway Station, Cais do Sodre Subway Station and Rato Subway Station. 5 minutes walking from Largo Camões and Praça do Chiado.

Neighborhood description:

Lisbon's most photographed street is Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo. 

That picturesque street is known for its funicular, the iconic Elevador da Bica. Framing the funicular are pastel-colored houses and the river at a walking distance.

The flat is located a few steps away, (5mn walk), from the Baixa, (city centre), and Chiado subway station, (central station), and it is the perfect accommodation for all who need to be close to the sightseeing attractions, like to socialize with international students and experience a trendy lifestyle. 

The Bica House is located at the famous 'Elevador da Bica' and minutes walking from the 'Miradouro do Adamastor' considered by many as the most beautiful view of the river and one of the most romantic sunset that the city has to offer.

If you want to try the famous Lisbon nightlife, only 5 minutes walk you have Bairro Alto with there famous restaurants and trendy bars.

For shopping you have Chiado and Avenida da Liberdade (Liberty Avenue).

From the Bica House you can visit any part of Lisbon without having to use your own transport, in the surrounding area exist public transportation, either bus or Metro, to all Lisbon, including all colleges and beaches.

You can easily reach other colleges by subway: Escola Superior de Educação and Escola Superior de Comunicação Social/IPL 20 minutes by subway (blue line); Instituto Superior Técnico 15 minutes by subway (green line); Universidade de Lisboa, Faculdade de Ciências, Faculdade de Letras, Instituto de Educação and Faculdade de Psicologia 20 minutes by green line; Faculdade de Medicina, Faculdade de Direito, ISCTE and Universidade Católica 20 minutes by subway (yelow line); Universidade Lusófona 20 minutes by subway (green line).

You can easily reach Universidade Técnica Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas, Faculdade de Agronomia and Faculdade de Arquitetura:  take the bus 760 or the tram 18 that leave
Cais do Sodré every 10 minutes and it takes  25 minutes to be at Campus Alto da Ajuda); Nova School of Business and Economics, Carcavelos Campus, is at 25 minutes by train. Take a train at Cais do Sodre and leave at Oeiras. Walk 20 minutes to NOVA SBE Campus.There is a train to Oeiras each 20 minutes.

Near the apartment you can find restaurants, banks, supermarket, pharmacy, bakery stores, bars, and all sorts of small shops. Bica is a very lively historical neighborhood with a lot of things going on. Lisbon beaches (Paredes, Carcavelos, Estoril and Cascais) 20 minutes by train.

Take the Red Line at the Airport Subway Station. Leave at Alameda Subway Station, go to Green Line direction Baixa/Chiado/Cais do Sodre. Leave the train at Baixa/Chiado Subway Station. Look for the Praca Chiado Exit. It takes 25 minutes.



If you arrive at Lisbon through the Portela Lisbon Airport, follow these directions to arrive at Lisbon Bica House: Take the Metro at the Airport, Red Line, direction Alameda Station. There, take the Green Line direction Cais do Sodre. Leave at Baixa/Chiado Metro Station. More 5 minutes walking to Rua da Bica Duarte Belo, 45, crossing Largo Camões, Largo do Calhariz and Calçada do Combro. The Lisbon Bica House is on the left.

  3. I enjoyed living for 6 months at Bica apartment. The best is being in the middle of Lisbon historical downtown with 2 Metro Stations and a Railway Station that can take you everywhere. The house is safe and clean.

  6. I spent 6 months in BicaHouse. I shared the house with a portuguese graduate student and an Erasmus German girl. What can I say? Nice and safe environment. It is good to be 5 minutes walking from Chiado Metro Station, Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodre. The house is clean and It is located in one of the best Lisbon histprical neighborood.

I'd need it from February the 1st until the beginning of October, since I'll be working in the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Portugal for my Traineeship scholarship until the 30th of September.
